Clash Discs Steady Wild Honey
The Honey is an understable distance driver with a moderate turn followed by a moderate fade. Long s-curve style flights are easy with the Honey. When released on a hyzer release, it will pop up to flat and glide down the fairway.
DBL Helix Flight Test...the Ring Wild Honey from Clash is a popular understable high speed driver. As usual I found the Ring plastic increase the stability slightly compared to the regular Steady plastic. However, the Ring Wild Honey is still "wildly" understable. As usual the combination of high speed i.e. wide rim and understable flight make the Wild Honey an absolute bomber when you get the angle right but also a bit finicky. Power down and the Wild Honey suddenly feels much more overstable. Hit it hard and flat and you will get huge drifting turn out of it with only a little fade. The Ring plastic is both amazing to the eye and the hand as it has super contrast and feel nice and grippy without giving up stiffness.
