Clash Discs Steady Ring Cookie
The Cookie is a straight to stable fairway driver by Clash Discs. It offers a reliable flight path and can be easily manipulated to hold different angles. Clash Discs designed the disc to have just enough torque resistance so it is also a great choice for forehand players.
DBL Helix Flight Test...The Ring Cookie is Clash's take on the most important driver spot in anyone's bag, the workhorse stable fairway driver. I would have no fear putting the cookie up against the best from the industry heavyweights, Innova, Lat 64, Discraft, Discmania etc. While the Cookie flies similar to the Teebird, Athena, FD1, Explorer, it does it while also offering a noticeable different hand feel. It feels more rounded and smooth in the hand especially on the inside of the rim where you feel the contact point in your hand. A nuanced critique of the flight would be that the Cookie gets plenty of distance for a 7 speed but isn't necessarily a glidey disc like many of the other 7 speeds listed above. Also I observed the Cookie to push straight 90% of its flight but when it started to fade at the end of its flight it did so more aggressively than most of the other discs listed above. This my favorite driver disc from Clash (its in my bag) and I am convinced that you would enjoy it as well.
