When the first Destroyers hit the course in 2007, they ushered in a new era for stable Distance Drivers. To this day, the Destroyer is our best-selling Driver and a go-to of most Innova pros.
In 2023, Calvin Heimburg used his Tour Series Halo Destroyer to earn Player of the Year. Now, on the heels of two back-to-back DGPT wins for Calvin, the disc synonymous with Vinny’s name is getting its wide release. The Halo Star Destroyer is fast, overstable, highly durable, and bursting with color – an instant Innova classic.
DBL Helix Test notes... its a Halo Star Destroyer, not much more to say. Its fast and overstable, made for big arms, headwinds, and forced flex shots. This is a disc that has no surprises to offer and that is why its probably the most trusted driver in the disc golf community. The lighter weight did not seem to make any difference with the stability. However, I was able to get it to consistently push farther than the max weight.
