Latitude 64 Royal Grand Mighty
DBL Helix Test Notes... The new Mighty from Latitude 64 is a fantastic feeling disc that reminds me most like the Explorer. At the same time its a bit confusing as they assigned flight numbers that are identical to the Brave from last year except that they reduced assigned the glide as a 5 for the Mighty instead of 6 like the Brave. The confusion come from the reality that the new Mighty and the Brave are nothing alike in flight. In tests the Mighty held straight with just a hint of midflight turn before reliably finishing out with a gentle fade. Compared to the Brave, the Mighty is way more overstable. I compared the Mighty to a brand new Explorer and the Mighty actually held the line better and finished with marginally more fade than the Explorer. If you love the Explorer and are looking to try it in Latitudes top of the line Royal Grand plastic, then here is your chance.
