DBL Helix Test Notes: I was expecting to find the Halo variant of the Fox to be significantly more overstable than the star Fox. However I wasn't able to experience much if any difference when compared to my first run star Fox. With that being said, the Fox immediately made my bag as I was in the hunt for a shallow glidey understable midrange. In throwing the Fox I was very impressed with the predictability and controllability of it as it was easy to get repeatable results from it. It likes to flip up from a hyzer release and drift to the right all while gliding a long ways. I threw this against many other -1/-2/-3 midranges from other companies and the Fox seemed to easily go 20-30 feet farther than the competition. The one exception to this is the MVP Detour. The Detour had the most similar flight characteristics as the Fox and was the only other mid that could achieve the same distance. This experience leads me to call the Fox, Innova's Detour.
