FD1 has a very high tolerance for speed and torque, meaning it can be thrown hard and is able to push forward on a straight and consistent flight path while finishing with a soft bite at the end. It’s got enough over stability to handle plenty of wind, forced turnover shots, and a wide variety of powerful shot shaping angles while maintaining a more throwable feel like a less stable disc normally would. You can rely on it to get you out of trouble, navigate tricky fairways, and conquer all conditions on any given day.
DBL Helix Test Notes...The Skywalker in Color Glow is an overstable compliment to the first Skywalkers. The plastic is grippy while still feeling relatively firm and premium. The flight of the SkyWalker is consistently overstable and trustworthy. This is not a disc that will wow you with glide and distance, rather it is a disc that will lower your score by being consistent is what it does. It likes to push straight without any hint of understable turn and then does a mini-firebird fade at the end. I expect advanced and pro players to love the Color Glow SkyWalkers for both forehand and backhand shots.
