The FD3 is our true workhorse fairway driver. Featuring a low profile, blunt nose, and concave inner rim, this is the disc to get things done. It can be trusted to handle high amounts of wind, forehand shots, thumber/tomahawk, and snappy backhand throws from even the strongest arms. Every player needs one of these in the bag for its sheer reliability and durability.
DBL Helix Test Notes: The Horizon Metal Flake C-line FD3 is your classic overstable Firebird/Felon/Raptor disc. The colors look amazing on this run the plastic feels great in hand as it is fairly stiff but also grippy. With regard to the flight, this run of FD3 seemed a bit more overstable than some other runs have been. Still pushing forward but then dumping hard at the end of its flight. If you love the FD3 then don't miss this limited edition run.
