With Premier, our engineers set out to rebalance the weight of the disc to extract every bit of performance potential from the physics of flight.
The result is a completely re-engineered flight plate, designed to reduce overall flight plate weight by over 10% compared to the industry average. This weight has been strategically shifted toward the outer rim, increasing the disc’s moment of inertia, the key to stronger gyroscopic stability. Simply put, the disc stays spinning faster and truer for longer.
DBL Helix Test Notes... the Premier Q line DD3 is a hard disc to find fault with. The Q line plastic is noticeable diffrent in the hand. The flight plate feels almost flimsy, and is noticeably thinner than most discs. However, it still retains excellent grip and the rim is nice and stiff. With regard to the flight, the Q line DD3 likes to hold very straight for surprisingly long before reliably fading back in. For my arm speed, the Q line DD3 is not my longest flying disc as it is quite overstable, but it is my longest flying overstable headwind disc.
