DBL Helix Test Notes... The Gorgon really impressed me with its unique hand feel, high glide, and easy distance. This disc has a very comfortable full feeling rim similar to a wider, faster IT. Innova is often given credit for inventing the beveled edge disc and now they are seemingly inventing a v shaped rim. I was surprised how much I could trust this disc. I could easily hit it flat with full power and never worry about it dumping over. However, I did throw it in about 10 mph of headwind and then it really showed it understability. I think everyone should try this disc. Lower arm speeds will appreciate its glide, higher arm speed will appreciate the effortless pushing hyzer flips and everyone will probably notice and appreciate the smooth full rim feel. The lighter weight Gorgons did seem to be just a touch more understable than the full weight ones. Does it fly diffrent than the First Run Gorgons? Not to my eye. Have you tried a Gorgon yet?
