MVP Neutron Control
Hot on the heels of June’s Special Edition release, the Neutron Control is now available as a stock disc. Released with flight numbers of 10 | 5 | -0.5 | 2, the Control is designed as a stable 10-speed that complements popular favorites like the MVP Trail. Maintaining a shape that feels comfortable in the hand, the Control is more reliable into a headwind and many players will find the Control to be more sidearm friendly and excellent for shaping shots from anhyzer. When accuracy is more important than distance, take control of your drive with the Neutron Control! Neutron Control!
DBL Helix Test notes... the Control is a highly anticipated disc as it is based off the famous MVP Trail. In field tests I was expecting to get the high Glide of the Trail with a touch more finish. The Control surprised me by being not just one notch more overstable than the Trail but more like two or three notches more overstable. The Control is a disc you can trust to hold up in a headwind. It reminded me of a slightly faster Halo Thunderbird from Innova or a to stick within the MVP Family, a faster overstable Tesla. As far as the Flight numbers go, I didn't see anything of the -0.5 turn and would describe the fade closer to a 2.5. All in all, it does offer a more overstable flight to the Trail and is fantastic to forehand.
